That’s horrible! Like in New Jersey you can either go to a state inspection site for free which is just a large warehouse that checks your emissions and any engine issues on the OBDII port, or you can pay to go to a private garage that does inspections.

Yeah, in VT (and NY AFAIK) there aren't state inspection sites.

What I did hear is that if your car fails and you take it -back to the same place- that they can't charge you again for another inspection...but that tends to come with a bunch of gotchas.

To my understanding; the hotel's parking garage is pretty big and will be free to park for our guests. There is oversized vehicle parking located across from the parking entrance, but limited capacity. We are planning to have space reserved for a car show.

The hotel garage does use a ticket booth system, but I think they'll keep the out-going traffic gate open for our event.

If Im wrong, tar and feathers dont usually disappear off store shelves.

As long as the item passes through our security team for inspection and peace bonding, most props are allowed. Assuming it is the standard conventional lightsaber model and not the Disney Experience model, there should be no issues. The only concerns regarding the Disney Experience models tends to be the use of actual metal components.

I got within 6 feet of it, stopped and it waited a while before it ran off. The picture was taken over the wall of the first parking lot where it had stopped. I was a good distance away when it finally decided to run away at full speed further into the lot.

At ANE? It was crowded, which was uncomfortable under current circumstances. They tried to have folks going unidirectionally, which worked about as well in practice as you'd expect.

I did buy a few things there, but I've also been in the fandom since AC was AAC so a lot of the time dealers don't really have anything I haven't already seen.

There's not much point in trying to do one way flow in my somewhat-cynical opinion because furries (and people in general, witness grocery stores) won't follow it anyway.

As to the size of the den, it doesn't really matter how large it is objectively if it's still 'cluttered'. I know it felt that way at past FPs, but obviously can't speak for the new site!

I fully agree with you with one way not doing much for any one.

I feel like most cons really pack in the dealers to try to get the most value. We had lanes in between tables to be used to get people in and out quickly if need be but we needed more space between dealers.

I remember my first Furpocalypse. I nearly passed out in the den due to all the people. It was claustrophobic and at the time I had a fear of crowds. Furpocalypse is the con that I went to in order to get over my fears.

There was at least one FP or FurFright where I didn't even go into the Dealer's Den for the entirety of the con because it felt crowded and I couldn't think of anything I specifically wanted/needed, and didn't want to deal with claustrophobia for window-shopping.
